Introduction:
see page: About Tahir:
Tahir's
Restaurant in Kayaköyü
-
-
her
traditional Börek - for my taste - is far the
best
- she
bakes wonderful
- wooden
stove bread and
- puff
pastry bread which her guests consume with pleasure.
- She
makes her own yoghurt, and from this again she makes the
- salty,
refreshing and very filling traditional Turkish drink
Ayran
- she
preserves the olives from Tahirs garden -
- Tahirs
olives sometimes are as big as cherries - and they taste
incomparably!
- The
salads of Hava and Tahir are like a poem, if you like
salads - you must ask especially for the "special
salads"
- I
can highly recommend Havas home-made traditionally Turkish
Tarhana soup
- Hava
uses even herbs which not everybody knows
...
and the contentment of the guests shows that also the main-menu
stands in high rank - and everything is pure nature - mostly
from own cultivation. Tahir offers also fruits from his own
garden: fresh figs, melons, pomegranates and bunches of grapes.
The entertainment is very familiar. If you like, you can enjoy
Tahirs very adventurous and unusual stories from his life...
He will tell you - if you ask.
Telephone-Number:
Who
wants to ask Tahir in Turkey for some urgent reason, or who
would like to make a reservation for a big meal - can reach
Tahir via his mobile phone:
0090 (0)532-2343183 Please
speak slowly and clearly, because Tahir only understands little
English. If you call him in the afternoon, his son Taifun may
be able to translate.
